CORE JOB FUNCTIONS    

    
1.   Prepares experiment proposals with detailed rationale, background data, and proposed methods and organization.
2.   Conducts laboratory experiments and studies and records findings.
3.   Maintains data files and conducts data analysis.
4.   Drafts and publishes manuscripts and articles for peer-reviewed journals.
5.   Prepares and submits grant applications.
6.   Designs, executes, interprets, and integrates scientific data.
7.   Maintains current knowledge of significant developments in the field.
8.   Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
