Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Experience Required in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential condominium location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, amenity spaces, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and support established entry procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and relevant activities accurately in required reports and communicate information to Allied Universal supervision and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
