The Senior Project Manager leads the successful delivery of large-scale, complex, and strategically significant initiatives across Lennar Technology Group. This role serves as a trusted partner to Product, Engineering, Architecture, Business, and Executive Leadership teams, ensuring programs are aligned with organizational goals and deliver measurable business value.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled project leadership professional with deep expertise in IT project and program management, Lean and Agile delivery practices, financial stewardship, stakeholder management, and organizational change. This individual drives execution across multiple interconnected workstreams, proactively manages risks and dependencies, influences decision-making at all levels of the organization, and mentors project managers to elevate overall delivery excellence.
Your Responsibilities on the Team
Strategic Program Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of highly complex, enterprise-wide projects and programs with multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain integrated program roadmaps, milestone plans, release schedules, and delivery strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive project execution from initiation through implementation, stabilization, and value realization.
Financial & Resource Management
- Own program financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Monitor actual spend against forecasts and provide executive visibility into financial performance.
- Partner with leadership to optimize resource allocation, capacity planning, and prioritization across initiatives.
Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
- Build strong relationships with business and technology leaders to align priorities and drive decision-making.
- Facilitate executive-level governance, steering committee meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable communications tailored to leadership audiences.
Risk, Dependency & Change Management
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and issues before they impact delivery.
- Manage complex cross-functional and cross-team dependencies across multiple projects and vendors.
- Lead change management and organizational readiness activities to support successful adoption of new capabilities and processes.
Delivery Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and maintain project governance, standards, and best practices across initiatives.
- Apply Lean, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies to improve delivery effectiveness and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project execution, transparency, and business outcomes.
- Leverage modern delivery tools, automation, analytics, and AI capabilities to increase project management effectiveness.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor and coach Project Managers and project team members in project management best practices.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on project and program delivery practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing complex IT projects and programs, including large-scale enterprise initiatives.
- Proven experience leading multiple concurrent projects with significant organizational impact.
- Demonstrated success managing project budgets, forecasts, resource plans, risk registers, dependency management, and executive reporting.
- Experience working with senior business and technology leadership, including executive stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Lean, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with a strong focus on business outcomes.
- PMP certification preferred; PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- Experience with GitHub Projects, Azure DevOps, Jira, Power BI, AI/LLM-enabled productivity tools, and modern portfolio management platforms preferred.
