Responsibilities include answering camp phone calls, responding to emails, assisting parents and camp staff with day-to-day logistics, and supporting Camp Directors in various tasks.  Position Description Responsibilities Handle office communication by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting parents or visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Assist with common parent inquiries and logistical needs, such as managing lost and found items, early camper pick-ups, and daily check-in or check-out procedures. Support Camp Directors and other administrative staff with clerical tasks including data entry, record-keeping, and organizing camp documents. Maintain an organized, efficient office environment, ensuring that resources and information are easily accessible to camp staff and parents. Collaborate with all camp teams to help solve day-to-day issues, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for campers and families. Serve as a stand-by substitute counselor or activity instructor, stepping in to lead or assist with camper groups or activities in the absence of regularly scheduled staff. Desired Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and respond promptly to changing needs. Proficiency in basic office software and technologies (email platforms, phone systems, etc.). Familiarity with or interest in working directly with children, whether through prior childcare, teaching, or camp experience. Willingness and flexibility to assume counselor or activity instructor duties on short notice, adjusting to various age groups and activity types.
