Job Summary

Ark Resource Group is assisting one of our verified industry partners in hiring a Torching / Welder with fabrication experience preferred for a scrap metal recycling operation in the Allapattah area.

This role is ideal for a certified candidate who wants to gain hands-on experience while working with heavy materials. The position involves cutting thick steel using torch equipment and preparing materials for container loading and transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform torch cutting on thick steel and metal structures to meet size requirements
  
• Assist with fabrication-related tasks, including breaking down large materials
  
• Cut and prepare scrap metal for container loading and shipment
  
• Operate cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
  
• Maintain organized work areas and support yard operations
  
• Work closely with supervisors to meet daily production goals
  

Requirements

• Welding certification required (entry-level accepted)
  
• Fabrication or metalwork experience preferred
  
• Experience with torch cutting thick steel is a strong plus
  
• Willingness to learn and grow in the scrap metal recycling industry
  
• Ability to work in an outdoor, industrial environment
  
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
  
• Reliable transportation to the Allapattah / Miami Airport area
