Job DetailsJob Location: Miami - 5200 Blue Lagoon Drive - Miami, FL 33126Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 HourlyJob Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesPosition Summary: Responsible for the collection and testing of urine specimens at the Miami- Dade County Court House. Essential Job Functions: Meet consumers at the Miami-Dade court area. Test urine of referred consumers for illegal/legal substances. Provide the Dade County judges with a quick response on the results of the urine specimen testing. Ensure the confidentiality of the results of the urine specimens testing. Participates in staff training and meetings as they relate to urine specimen testing and court presentations. Complete necessary paperwork within the time specified by the department. Attend court hearings when subpoenaed. Provides coverage as residential program support as needed. Maintains safety and security of facility assigned. Communicates with Program Coordinator regarding regarding consumers leaving treatment, injuries, or major infractions of rules, including acts of violence and drug use. Provide input in clinical team meetings. Ensure that all consumers are adhering to established schedules. QualificationsEssential Qualifications: Certifications/Licensures: None Education: Must hold a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D Experience and Competencies: One year experience providing services to persons with alcohol and/or drug problems is preferred; Bilingual is preferred Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with judges and court personnel. Must have computer skills to document results in multiple databases Ability to provide an Affidavit of Good Moral Character Clearance in Pre-Employment Drug Testing and Criminal Records Checks, as required CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an annual Tuberculosis test.
