*This is an onsite role based out of our Warehouse in Doral, FL. This is not a remote or hybrid opportunity.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Assistant supports the daily operation of the warehouse by
receiving, organizing, pulling, preparing, loading, and returning event equipment
and supplies. This role helps ensure that staging, production, audiovisual, décor,
furniture, tools, and event materials are accurate, clean, safe, and ready for each
event. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-minded, and
comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with changing
priorities and tight event deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive, unload, inspect, label, and store incoming event equipment,
materials, and supplies.
• Pull, stage, and prepare orders for upcoming events based on pick lists,
production schedules, or manager instructions.
• Load and unload trucks, vans, and trailers while protecting equipment from
damage.
• Clean, test, count, and return equipment to the proper warehouse location
after events.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning, counting, documenting,
and reporting discrepancies.
• Organize warehouse aisles, shelves, staging areas, and dock areas to
support safe and efficient operations.
• Assist with packing, wrapping, labeling, and securing items for transport to
event venues.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts, dollies, and other material-handling equipment
safely; operate forklifts only if certified and authorized.
• Report damage, missing, or unsafe equipment to the warehouse manager or
supervisor immediately.
• Follow company safety procedures, including proper lifting, PPE use,
housekeeping, and equipment handling.
• Support event crews, drivers, production teams, and vendors with
warehouse-related needs.
• Perform other warehouse, logistics, and event preparation duties as
assigned.
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse, event production, logistics, moving, staging,
audiovisual, rental, or inventory experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read pick lists, labels, schedules, and basic warehouse
documentation.
• Basic computer, tablet, or scanning-device skills for inventory tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license preferred, depending on company needs.
• Forklift certification is preferred; employer may provide training where
applicable.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials up to 50 pounds,
with assistance for heavier items.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, squat, and move throughout the
warehouse for extended periods.
• Comfortable working around trucks, loading docks, pallets, staging areas,
and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change
based on event schedules.
Schedule and Work Environment
• This position is based in a warehouse and may require early mornings,
evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, or schedule changes based on
event needs.
• Work may include indoor warehouse tasks, loading dock activity, and
occasional support with event materials before or after productions.
