Northbridge University is seeking a qualified HVAC Adjunct Instructor.

Northbridge University has been a leader in higher education for more than 40 years. At Northbridge University, the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Diploma Program prepares students with the knowledge and skills to become efficient, safety-minded technicians who can fill entry-level positions in the HVAC field. In addition, they will acquire the necessary skills to perform installation tasks, service, and repairs in heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment. This program is designed to prepare graduates to take the certifications from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

You would be responsible for creating, delivering, and evaluating engaging courses throughout our HVAC trade curriculum, all while nurturing a positive and inspiring learning environment for our students.

The Instructor’s duties include teaching, directing, and coordinating academic or academic-related activities. The Faculty member provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain employment in their chosen field of study by utilizing teaching skills, experience, and abilities to create a positive, nurturing, and effective classroom environment to actively retain and successfully graduate students from their program of study. The instructor is assigned to a specific program based on their professional and educational qualifications and teaches a full-time load each term or module.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification.
  • Technical Degree or Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of related work experience in the field of study.
  • Official academic transcripts of all degrees are required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience, a minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
