As an Armed Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and authorized access activity; verify credentials and maintain accurate logs and incident reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while following applicable laws, training requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
