NPW is seeking a highly organized and dependable Warehouse Associate IV to join our team. If you enjoy leading by example, supporting warehouse operations, and helping create an efficient and safe work environment, this is a great opportunity for you.

The ideal candidate for this position will be proactive and responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, assisting with shipping and receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and supporting warehouse associates while ensuring accuracy, productivity, and safety standards are consistently met. This position also serves as a trusted key holder responsible for opening and closing the facility and maintaining security procedures.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily assigned department operations and provide direction to warehouse associates

Package, process, and ship orders accurately while meeting time-sensitive deadlines

Receive, organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory

Use handheld scanners and relevant software to maintain accurate shipments and inventory records

Pull orders by identifying numeric and alpha-numeric part numbers

Assist with cycle counts, stock rotation, and resolving inventory discrepancies

Process paperwork and electronic documents relating to warehouse products

Inspect warehouse equipment and ensure machines are operating safely

Maintain productivity standards for assigned work areas

Follow company safety guidelines and proper use of designated equipment

Open and close the warehouse according to company procedures

Perform facility walkthroughs to verify security, equipment shutdowns, and safety checks

Respond to alarms or security-related concerns when assigned

Safeguard facility keys, fobs, and security codes

Model strong teamwork, accountability, and adherence to company standards

Additional duties as assigned by Warehouse Management

 

Qualifications:

3+ years of warehouse experience required

Previous lead, senior associate, or supervisory experience preferred

Strong organizational and time management skills

Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Working knowledge of warehouse systems and handheld scanners

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership

Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and initiative to fill in for management as needed

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while meeting deadlines

Positive and professional attitude

Forklift Certification is a PLUS!

 

Physical Requirements:

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds unassisted.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds assisted.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to read, stand, walk, bend at waist and knees, use hands, and reach with arms.
