Welcome to Middle Valley Elementary — Home of the Marvels!
Located in Hixson, TN, just north of Chattanooga, Middle Valley Elementary (PK–5) is a vibrant school community where every student is a Marvel—a wonderful and astonishing person with limitless potential. Our core values are Opportunity, Excellence and Connection.

Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
- Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
- Create a well-managed, structured classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus
- Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
Compensation & Additional Info:
- Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
- Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
