Electronic Medical Records Training and Implementation Specialist (EMR)聽

If so, join our dynamic team as an Electronic Medical Records Training and Implementation Specialist at the Counseling Service of Addison County.聽


Position Overview

As the Electronic Medical Records Training and Implementation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the infrastructure, compliance and end user environment of our electronic medical record system.聽


Key Responsibilities

路 Create, update, and maintain user ID鈥檚 and role-based access security as it relates to the EMR.

路 Design and generate forms as needed by the state agency.聽

路 Perform troubleshooting functions, research, analyze and resolve operational problems.聽

路 Conduct trainings with physicians, nurses, clinicians, and other staff in the use of application software.聽

路 Provide helpdesk support as it relates to the EMR.

路 Actively assist in the implementation of new and updated software applications as needed.

路 Create and maintain accurate and useful user documentation.

路 Assist in maintaining integrity and security of data systems, with regard for client confidentiality.


Qualifications

路 Associate鈥檚 Degree in computer science or other appropriate field, plus two to four years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.

路 Work experience in healthcare and strong business and management skills preferred.

路 Must be very detail-oriented, follow instructions well, and work as part of a team.聽

路 Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite with extensive experience in creating word forms and templates.

路 Project management experience, a plus.

路 Ability to resolve operational problems through teamwork.

路 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively support end users with varying levels of technological expertise.聽

路 Superb organizational skills.
