ABOUT RADIOLOGY AT PORTER MEDICAL CENTER
The Radiology Department performs 25,000 imaging exams annually using CT Philips ingenuity 64 slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D for mammography. CT and general x-ray services are available 24/7, with ultrasound and MRI performed on weekdays with weekend ultrasound call coverage. Â
JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking experienced CT/Mammo/Rad Tech with excellent customer service skills.Â
Cross training into other modalities and certification (based on Radiology Department needs) is required, and existing CT or mammo certification is required.
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing routine, trauma, intraoperative, radiological imaging.Â
In addition to competitive pay, this position is eligible for the following differentials:Â Â
Evening $3/hourÂ
Night $5/hourÂ
Weekend $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening or night differentials)Â Â
Per Diem $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening, night, and weekend differentials)Â
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program in a CAHEA approved school and certification by the ARRT or its equivalent.Â
Current Vermont unrestricted State license to practice radiologic technology.Â
Demonstrated competence as a licensed professional by maintaining professional growth and development to keep abreast in Radiology Tech field.Â
Maintains certification in Tech’s special modality.Â
CT or mammography certification required.

Shifts vary based on department needs.
