Position Overview:
This role is a hands-on talent development practitioner responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving the programs, processes, and tools that build capability across CompoSecure's operators, frontline leaders, and professional teams. This role serves as the primary subject matter expert for skills-based talent development, providing day-to-day execution and hands-on partnership with manufacturing supervisors, team leads, and HR colleagues.
This role will also play a central role in the administration, governance, and ongoing management of CompoSecure's learning culture, systems and skills infrastructure, including partnership with supervisors, HR, and business leaders to ensure skills documentation, learning programs, and LMS records remain accurate, current, and effective in supporting business needs.
This role is ideal for a learning and development professional who enjoys hands-on facilitation, program coordination, and detailed LMS and data administration, and who is energized by connecting skills, learning, and talent processes in ways that support business performance and employee growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Program Delivery & Facilitation
- Lead the coordination and facilitation of core learning programs, including operator training, frontline leader development, and professional skills workshops
- Apply adult learning principles to design and deliver practical, relevant learning experiences for manufacturing and professional audiences
- Prepare materials, logistics, rosters, and evaluations for live and virtual sessions, and gather feedback to continuously improve program quality and on-the-job application
- Partner closely with managers to reinforce learning and support behavior change following training
Skills & Capability Development
- Lead the administration and ongoing evolution of skills assessments, skills matrices, and role-based capability profiles for manufacturing and selected non-manufacturing roles
- Partner closely with manufacturing supervisors, team leads, and HR partners to keep skill requirements current as roles, technologies, and business needs evolve
- Support the design and maintenance of skills taxonomies and competency frameworks, ensuring they stay relevant as roles and business priorities shift
- Translate job requirements into practical skill expectations and development priorities, and contribute to career pathways by linking skills, learning, and readiness for next-step roles
- Identify emerging skill gaps and development needs, with particular focus at the operator and frontline leader level
Learning Systems & Operations
- Own day-to-day LMS administration, including course creation, assignments, enrollments, completions, and user support
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready learner records, learning paths, course catalogs, and compliance documentation
- Troubleshoot LMS issues and recommend improvements to the overall learner experience
- Develop and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports on learning activity, completion status, and participation trends
- Act as the go-to resource for employees and managers on LMS navigation, training assignments, and digital learning questions
Talent & Learning Enablement
- Support broader talent initiatives and contribute to shaping a learning culture by contributing to projects across talent management, learning, and employee development
- Draft clear internal communications that promote learning opportunities and reinforce a culture of continuous growth
- Develop dashboards and reports that track skill progress, learning participation, and development impact
- Use learning and talent data to identify trends, highlight gaps, and support better talent decisions
- Build working knowledge of CompoSecure's talent processes and development offerings to guide employees and leaders to the right resources

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in learning and development, talent management, HR, training coordination, or a related area
- Hands-on experience administering an LMS, including reporting, course setup, and troubleshooting
- Proven experience facilitating training for frontline, operations, or professional audiences
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn learning and talent data into clear insights, dashboards, and recommendations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across HR and the business
- Strong follow-through, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a genuine interest in helping people build skills and grow their careers

- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience with skills matrices, operator training, qualification tracking, or standard work instruction deployment
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and learning content design
- Experience supporting talent processes such as career development, talent reviews, or performance management
