Growscape is a leading Manufacturer of horticulture growing containers, our mission, “From Grower to Gardener, Improving Our World”.   Key Responsibilities Quality System Ownership & Documentation Own the Quality System; assess the current state, build out formal documentation, and drive organization-wide compliance to it Develop and continuously improve Quality Procedures and Control Plans based on customer requirements and business needs Manage documentation related to quality reports, product testing, and regulatory compliance Process & Product Quality Supervise quality inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods Monitor product quality against internal standards and customer requirements, including dimensional accuracy, appearance, durability, and environmental compliance Work with production to establish quality checkpoints, inspection procedures, and process improvements Ensure lab equipment is functioning as expected, including managing the annual calibration process Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and returns; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (8D) Conduct regular audits of processes, products, and systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards Lead internal teams in preparing for 2nd- and 3rd-party audits; close out any resulting corrective actions Supplier Quality Ensure supplier quality through audits and incoming materials inspection Leadership & Culture Lead and coach the quality assurance team, providing training and performance feedback Champion a culture of quality across the organization through communication and engagement QualificationsQualifications and Experience Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3–5 years of quality management experience in plastic manufacturing or similar industry Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and defect prevention techniques Technical Skills Experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality software (e.g., Minitab, ERP/QMS systems)
