Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: OH Middlefield - Middlefield, OH 44062Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $22.40 - $23.82 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: ManufacturingJob Purpose The Senior Operator B (Inline Operator) plays a critical role in producing high-quality products by safely and efficiently operating inline extrusion and thermoforming equipment. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, solving problems, and keeping production running smoothly. The role is performed in a warm manufacturing environment and requires regular standing, reaching, bending, moving, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Key Responsibilities Safely operate thermoforming and extrusion inline equipment, packaging machinery, and material-handling equipment. Monitor machines for alarms, warning indicators, unusual sounds, or performance changes. Communicate equipment concerns to leads and assist with diagnosing and correcting operational issues. Support mold changes and equipment setup as required. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery components. Maintain a strong focus on product quality, production efficiency, and workplace safety. Follow and model all company safety policies and procedures. Help keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and production-ready. Lead by example and perform all duties in accordance with The HC Companies’ values. Support all company policies, procedures, and production standards. Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned. Frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 40–50 pounds. Qualifications  Qualifications and Experience Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and basic mechanical operations. Ability to use basic measuring tools to accurately monitor sheet dimensions and product specifications. Ability to read and understand technical instructions, blueprints, and production documents. Basic math and reading-comprehension skills. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, especially when addressing mechanical or production challenges. Ability to accurately complete required production paperwork and documentation. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting. Must follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a strong, safety-focused workplace culture.
