Position Description:

The Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities
• Perform patient assessments, including medical history and physical exams
• Diagnose and manage pulmonary conditions such as COPD, asthma, and pneumonia
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
• Provide patient education and coordinate care with the healthcare team
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record

Qualifications
1. Current Louisiana RN and APRN licensure required.
2. BLS and ACLS certification required
3. Pulmonary, critical care, or internal medicine experience preferred
