Position Description:

Assists in providing nursing care of patients by working cooperatively with other team members in maintaining standards of care in the clinical setting. Their frequent contact with patients assists the nurses in utilizing the nursing process.

Qualifications:
1. Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF): Requires successful completion of Nurse Aide Training Program. Maintenance of certification is required.

2. RN and LPN Nursing Students: Must have completed basic nursing skills course with clinical experience within their curriculum.
Post graduate LPN or RN will be eligible to work as a non licensed employee. Performing only task delegated to a non licensed nursing employee.

3. Completion of Nurse Aide Training Program or equivalent education in non licensed nursing assistant duties preferred.
