Location: On-site position, 3150 N Pleasant View, Middleton, WI

Pay: $23/per hour, first shift.

SUMMARY: Do you like building things and using your hands? We have an exciting opportunity where you will be involved in building component parts and assemblies to support production demands in the medical device industry. We offer some of the best-in-class equipment and systems to hospitals in the Neurology. This position is ideal if you enjoy working with electronic equipment, computers, cabling, etc. along with basic hand tools and mechanical equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN THIS ROLE:

    • Perform tests on components and finished products to check for defects, ensure proper functionality, and verify compliance with specifications. 
    • Set up, calibrate, and maintain specialized test equipment to ensure accurate and consistent results.
    • Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues at the component and assembly level, often replacing or completing rework on faulty items. 
    • Work closely with the quality assurance department to ensure products meet quality standards and safety regulations. 
    • Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and procedures, and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. 
    • Follow documented test procedures and provide data input as required for quality and process improvement initiatives.  
    • Perform a variety of tasks including repetitive and non-repetitive production which may include assembly of components, kitting of parts and configuring assemblies.  
    • Complete documentation and other paperwork as part of the production process.  
    • Assist with work in other areas as required.  
    • Stay up to date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 3-6 months related assembly experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, assembly drawings, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues at the component level. 

 

Pay Transparency: 

Pursuant to the requirements of applicable State laws and regulations, the starting salary range for this position is $XXX- XXX USD.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
