We are looking for a part-time 'Quality of Life Coordinator' (Activity Coordinator). This person must be compassionate, friendly, outgoing, and have a passion for seniors. We believe that a great activity program increases the quality of life of the residents we care for each day, and we are looking for someone who feels the same. Are you self-driven, and can you work well in a team setting? You may be the person we are looking for!

The Cottages provides care for our senior population to help them live safely and independently in a home-like setting. We only want people who want to love our seniors. Experience is a plus, but love is a must!

Job Duties Include (not limited to):

  • Creating a fun environment for our residents
  • Plan activities in the home and in the community
  • Create monthly activity calendars
  • Create personalized and group activities for all residents
  • Oversee activity petty cash
  • Coordinate external vendors for entertainment
  • Help coordinate and plan special events

Requirements:

  • GREAT ATTITUDE, one of compassion and a sincere desire to help others
  • Ability to take direction, follow rules exactly, be proactive and thoughtful
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History check
  • Pass the post-offer drug test
  • Be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Be 18 years of age or older
