Due to growth we are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and build scalable processes that support the company’s continued expansion. This role will partner cross-functionally to provide reliable financial insights, maintain a strong control environment, and develop a high-performing accounting team.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and timelinessÂ
- Review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to maintain integrity of the general ledgerÂ
- Prepare and review financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analysis for leadershipÂ
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and financial controlsÂ
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits; prepare audit schedules and support requestsÂ
- Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members; assign work, review outputs, and provide feedbackÂ
- Build and improve accounting processes to support scalability, automation, and efficiencyÂ
- Oversee balance sheet accounts including cash, AR, AP, prepaid expenses, and liabilitiesÂ
- Monitor working capital, review aging reports, and support cash flow management and forecastingÂ
- Partner with FP&A, HR, Sales, and Operations on accounting-related matters (revenue recognition, payroll, benefits, etc.)Â
- Identify process gaps, risks, and control weaknesses; implement improvements and ensure complianceÂ
- Support system enhancements, ERP improvements, and integrations tied to growth or acquisitionsÂ
- Maintain accurate documentation for policies, procedures, and audit readinessÂ
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory roleÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)Â
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirementsÂ
- Experience managing month-end close and producing accurate financial statementsÂ
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage workflows, and develop staffÂ
- Experience working with auditors and managing audit processesÂ
- Strong understanding of balance sheet management and working capital oversightÂ
- Experience improving processes and implementing accounting controlsÂ
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems and system optimization effortsÂ
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insightsÂ
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsÂ
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentÂ
