PharmcareUSA is excited to announce that we are opening a location in Middletown, CT, and are in need of a Registered Pharmacist to join our team!!

We are looking for an energetic, patient caring, critical thinking, person that can communicate, both written and verbally. Previous LTC experience is a plus, but not necessary for the right candidate.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist and manage pharmacy technicians as required and as necessary
  • Assist with phone calls as necessary
  • IV experience is a positive
  • Oversee proper inventory management and medication ordering
  • Assist with and oversee Medication Returns and E-Kit management
  • Develop and supervise medication management systems to ensure that adequate supplies of medications are available to meet resident care needs, stored under appropriate and secure conditions, delivered to residents in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, and labeled appropriately.

Job Specifications:

  • Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations at all times
  • Maintain required Continuing Education credits
  • Maintain current licensing by the state(s) in which he/she practices


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment up to 100% of the time;
  • Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;
  • Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others;
  • This position is very active and requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping;
  • Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time;
  • Must be able to tolerate normal office/pharmacy environment and exposure to various medications
