We are seeking a Senior Production Planner to oversee the entire Production Plan including scheduling and inventory control ensuring the manufacturing priorities support customer’s production schedules. 

So, what will you be doing as a Senior Production Planner?

  • Lead members of the production planning team to successfully execute inventory management and production planning.
  • Collaborate with members of the management leadership team to maximize efficiency of Supply Chain processes including warehouse stock levels, inventory, raw material levels and change management.
  • Monitor manufacturing planning activities.
  • Coordinate with Planning Team and Manufacturing Managers to determine current and future job sequencing, machine schedule priorities, required resources to meet demands, exceptions and production alerts required to overcome exceptions.
  • Provide status reports of part in production.
  • Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
  • Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • 5 years in Production Planning or Program Management.
  • Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Prior experience working with Epicor or other ERP system.
