Role Mission:

The Warehouse Assistant ensures field crews receive the right materials, tools, and equipment safely, accurately, and on time. This role supports productivity in the field by preparing orders, executing deliveries, maintaining warehouse organization, and ensuring safe movement of materials throughout the day.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and secure materials, tools, and equipment for delivery.
  • Deliver materials to job sites based on delivery schedules and staging requirements.
  • Office and warehouse cleaning.
  • Stage materials on site in the correct location to support installation workflow.
  • Communicate with field leaders on arrival, quantities, shortages, and placement.
  • Pull and prepare orders daily based on pick lists and priority schedules.
  • Receive deliveries from suppliers, verify against purchase orders, and store appropriately.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on company vehicles including but not limited to oil changes, cleaning and stocking.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on company tools and equipment.
  • Inspect returned tools/equipment for damage, cleanliness, and completeness.
  • Maintain material labels, stock levels, and accurate movement logs.
  • Contribute to clean, safe, and organized warehouse and loading zones.
  • Report low inventory, back orders, shortages, or damaged materials immediately.

Must-Have Competencies:

  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe material handling
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable in follow-through
  • Ability to safely lift, load, and secure materials and equipment
  • Clean driving record and professional conduct at job sites
  • Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
