Job DetailsJob Location: Lucys Hearth - Middletown, RI 02842Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: Graduate DegreeSalary Range: $33.65 - $43.76Travel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: DayFSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community!    Position Summary: The Behavioral Health Clinician position is co-located at Lucy’s Hearth in Middletown, Rhode Island.  Lucy’s Hearth is an emergency family shelter and transitional living facility housing up to 15 families at any one time.  The Clinician provides short term, evidence-based treatments and interventions for families newly arriving to the shelter who do not yet have a community-based provider. The Clinician also facilitates an ongoing, drop-in wellness support group and assists families during episodes of emotional or behavioral dysregulation.  Qualifications: Incorporating authenticity, empathy, and humanity into daily practice Providing care that is respectful, empowering, and responsive to the person receiving services Balancing all job and performance requirements, without forgetting to be considerate of others and their feelings At least two years of counseling experience, preferably with families Demonstrates communication and conversational skills that inspire trust and consistency Master’s degree in a human service related field Required to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor, Independent License Strongly preferred Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance    Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay. Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.   Physical Requirements: This position may require community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to: Travel to and from Lucy’s Hearth facility, community locations and office sites, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators    Ability to lift up to 20lbs   Must be able to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirements     Don’t meet every single requirement?  Here at FSRI, we’re dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
