Summary Overview
Are you organized, service-minded, and interested in helping others create well-planned vacation experiences? We are seeking motivated individuals to join our virtual team as Travel Planning Advisors.
In this role, you will work with clients to understand what they want from their upcoming trip and assist with researching and coordinating options that suit their needs. Client requests may range from cruises and resort stays to family vacations, romantic getaways, group experiences, tours, and international destinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to gather trip dates, destination interests, preferences, and budget considerations
- Research accommodations, cruises, transportation, tours, excursions, and packaged vacation options
- Develop travel suggestions based on each client's individual priorities
- Provide clear information about available options, inclusions, and reservation requirements
- Assist with arranging selected services through approved supplier resources
- Organize reservation confirmations and itinerary information
- Monitor upcoming deadlines and follow up on outstanding planning details
- Verify names, dates, accommodations, and other booking information for accuracy
- Assist clients with routine questions, updates, and reservation requests
- Maintain detailed electronic records of client activity and arrangements
- Communicate professionally by phone, email, messaging, and virtual appointments
- Continue building knowledge of destinations, vacation products, and supplier programs
- Provide attentive service throughout the planning and preparation process
