Day Porter - Middleville

POSITION REQUIREMENTS – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Clean and disinfect all restroom surfaces including walls, doors. Clean and disinfect all sinks and toilets. Clean mirrors. Sweep and mop floors. Remove trash and replace bags. Restock all paper products and soap
• Empty all trash containers and replace bags in public and secured areas. Spot clean and disinfect doors handles, wall railings, escalators and elevators as needed. Dust all flat surfaces. Vacuum carpeted floors or dust mop and damp mop all hard floor surfaces. Pick up debris and mop spills
• Disinfect seats and handrails in boarding areas and boarding ramps. Sweep/vacuum carpet and mop hard surface floors
• Must be polite and act as an ambassador for the Gerald R. Ford Airport
• Adhere to all safety practices
• Promote and exhibit Company culture and values
• Ensure facilities are clean projecting a positive image of the Company

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Must be able to pass a federal background check and drug test
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English (basic-level minimum).
• Preference: High school Diploma
• Ability to work flexible hours

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to stand, sit, walk and kneel for sustained periods or durations as position would require.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis as position would require.

WAGES AND BENEFITS

• Starting hourly base wage for this role is $16.50/hour with a .75 cent premium working on 2nd shift.
