Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday; Friday & Saturday Off!

*Schedule includes seasonal scheduling - College semesters; August – December; January – May

Creative Dining Services on site at Northwood University is looking for a passionate, energetic Cook to help fuel our vibrant campus community! If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in your craft, and enjoy making a difference in people’s daily lives—this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare delicious food items by following established recipes and menus, ensuring each dish shines in freshness, quality, and visual appeal.
• Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment at all times.
• If work shift requires, properly open and/or close the kitchen – unlocking/locking doors & secured areas, and turning on/turning off of all equipment essential to the operation
• Support other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and campus partners

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of culinary experience
• ServSafe Certification Preferred
