Midland Physical Therapy, a H2 Health company, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Occupational Medicine team in Midland, Texas. We believe great care begins with great clinicians. At Midland Physical Therapy, you'll work with a diverse patient population while gaining hands-on experience in both outpatient rehabilitation and occupational medicine. Clinicians treat orthopedic, neurological, pre- and post-operative, gait and balance, and sports-related conditions while also supporting workforce health through specialized testing and injury prevention services. This role offers the opportunity to expand your expertise beyond traditional physical therapy through occupational medicine programs that support local employers and workers throughout the Midland community. Based on your recruiting spreadsheet, Midland remains a key growth market within the Texas outpatient division.

Your Role:

  • Assess and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, pre- and post-operative, gait and balance, and sports-related conditions.
  • Develop individualized plans of care designed to optimize patient outcomes and functional recovery.
  • Perform evidence-based treatment interventions to improve mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life.
  • Collaborate with patients, physicians, employers, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Participate in occupational medicine services, including training in DOT-regulated physicals, audiometric testing, pulmonary function testing, and fitness-for-duty assessments.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness, workplace ergonomics, and home exercise programs.
  • Document patient care accurately utilizing the Raintree EMR platform.
  • Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload environment, typically averaging approximately 50 visits per week for full-time outpatient clinicians.
  • Contribute to a culture of clinical learning, collaboration, and peer support.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Texas Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
