Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks 

Pay Rate: $3025 weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Cath Lab

Shifts available: Days

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 X 12-hr, 3 shifts during M-F, 10, Weekends for on-call only. 2 Weekdays on call per month and 1 weekend every 8 weeks

Position Requirements:

• 2 years of RN Invasive Imaging experience  - Required
  
• Experience in Electrophysiology -  Required 
  
• Travel experience – Preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• RN License for State of MI - Required
  
• BLS, ACLS Certifications from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• This position cares for patients before, during and after an electrophysiology procedure.
  
• This position cares for Structural heart (including Watchman), Lead extractions, ablations, Vascular and EP pacemaker / device patients. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of procedural process, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, mapping, post-procedure care and patient education.
  
• Performs nursing care for the above outlined procedures, but not limited to:
  
• Circulate and assists during cases, including sterically drop procedural supplies on tray, scrubbing in the case, running for supplies.
  
• Records all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets.
  
• Assists Radiologic Technologists circulate cases, sterically drop procedural supplies on tray.
