Position Details/Responsibilities

HVAC Installers are responsible for installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and/or refrigeration, and other equipment following manufacturer specifications and company requirements.
Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering and knowledge of press systems.
Perform installation of flex, ductboard, and/or sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and multifamily buildings.
Inspect HVAC systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
Support superintendent and foreman to ensure jobsite safety and security.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

Minimum of three years as an installer.
Possession of High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; EPA certification a plus.
Proficient knowledge of the IMC, SMACNA guidelines, local codes, and construction safety requirements.
