Job DetailsJob Location: Main Campus - MIDLAND, TX 79705Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $11.00 HourlyJob Category: EducationJob Summary: Responsible for the operation of the Fitness Center to include cleaning, usage control, and assisting Fitness Center attendees. Essential Functions: Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate the use of all equipment in the fitness center Clean and maintain all equipment and supplies in and around the Fitness Center Ensure that only approved patrons are permitted into the fitness center Promote the safety and security of patrons and facility Other duties as assigned Physical Demands: Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time Use of manual dexterity The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information Frequently moves boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds The employee will be exposed to chemicals when cleaning fitness equipment (Simple Green) QualificationsRequired Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Knowledge of general office equipment including computer, copier, and multi-line phone Experience working with confidential information General knowledge of fitness and wellness Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate the use of all equipment in the fitness center Preferred Qualifications: CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent oral communication skills Excellent organizational skills
