The Operations Support Coordinator is a hands-on role responsible for supporting field operations and yard logistics. This position plays a key role in daily coordination of truck dispatch, chemical inventory, equipment loading/unloading, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of logistics and warehousing, with the ability to operate a forklift and manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Dispatching & Logistics:

Schedule and dispatch trucks to and from job sites according to operational needs.
Communicate with drivers and field personnel to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

Warehouse & Yard Operations:

Load and unload trucks using a forklift and other equipment.
Consolidate totes and stage chemicals for upcoming jobs.
Place and organize chemicals in designated storage areas in compliance with safety standards.
Maintain a clean and orderly yard and warehouse area.

Inventory & Documentation:

Perform regular inventory counts and track chemical and equipment usage.
Assist with receiving shipments and updating inventory management systems.
Generate and maintain documentation for shipments, job orders, and inventory transactions.

Operational Support:

Collaborate with operations and field teams to support job prep and post-job reconciliation.
Ensure safety procedures are followed during all handling and storage activities.
Provide administrative and hands-on support to improve overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or logistics training preferred.
2+ years of operations, warehouse, or logistics experience in oil & gas, chemical, or industrial settings.
A clean driving record is required for transporting mixing plants and small hot shot loads in urgent situations.
Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
Experience with truck dispatching, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with inventory or dispatch software is a plus.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in warehouse/yard environments.
Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious.
