Compensation
PAY RANGE: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr.
Position Summary
The E-CLIP Production Operator uses different types of machine equipment to assist with manufacturing the NARSTCO product in an efficient and safe manner; cooperates as a team with other workers to produce a high-quality product to meet customer needs and goals.Â
Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Work safely following all required safety and work protocols and wearing of personnel protective equipment as required.Â
- Carryout to the full extent required, production activities for the processing of all NARSTCO productsÂ
- Follow instructions of Production Foreman and Team LeadsÂ
- Ensure correct number of pieces are placed into rackÂ
- Band product bundÂ
- Mark and inspect bundles as instructedÂ
- Move material with forklift from finished bundle rack to designated staging areaÂ
- Load infeed with proper capacity forkliftÂ
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standardsÂ
- Work at a reasonable pace (measured by production efficiency) and within our quality standards to insure timely completionÂ
- Assist new employees in safe and efficient production which includes following standard operating procedures and instructional material and manualsÂ
- To exercise the utmost degree of integrity, honesty, good faith, and fidelity to the Company, in dealing with the Company and with its customers, employees, suppliers and other public entitiesÂ
- Provide other reasonable services as the Company may request from time to time.Â
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School diploma or GEDÂ
- One to two years’ experience in ManufacturingÂ
- One to two years Forklift operation and certification a bonusÂ
- Basic reading and mathematics skillsÂ
- Knowledge and experience in working punch press, form press, forklift, using calipers, reading a tape measure, operation of PLC equipment, grinders, and machine fabrication tools preferredÂ
- Basic maintenance knowledge such as tightening and loosening bolts etc. is preferredÂ
- Ability to follow instructions, drawings and dimensions as required for qualityÂ
- Ability to work well with tools and machinery requiredÂ
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Works outdoors/indoors Â
- Frequently stands, walks, climbs, balances, lifts, bends, and moves objects up to 50 poundsÂ
- Exposed to all weather conditions including very hot and very cold weatherÂ
- Exposed to loud noiseÂ
