Job DetailsJob Location: Midway University - Midway, KY 40347Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Graduate Degree  Assistant/Associate Professor – Exercise Science  Anticipated Start: August 2026 Midway University invites applicants for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor in Exercise Science in the James C. Bowling School of Business. This position is a 9-month, non-tenured contract position. Summer teaching opportunities may be available.  At this time, Midway University is unable to provide new employment visa sponsorship. Consideration will be given to candidates who are already legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.   This position will play an important role in advancing the University’s commitment to preparing students for careers in Exercise Science.  Courses will be taught in both face-to-face and online formats.  Teaching will be at the undergraduate level with a primary focus on kinesiology, biomechanics, nutrition and advanced exercise physiology.    The candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with colleagues. All faculty are expected to advise students, serve on committees, be engaged in campus life, and maintain currency in the field. Research in the field is encouraged but not required.   QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Doctorate in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field with preference given to candidates who also have professional field experience.  ABD candidates will also be considered.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
