Job Description:
IHOP is seeking a friendly and efficient Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
* Greet guests warmly and present menus in a clear and concise manner.
* Accurately take food and beverage orders, including special requests and dietary restrictions.
* Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly and correctly.
* Regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
* Clear tables efficiently and prepare them for the next guests.
* Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
* Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
* Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Upsell menu items and daily specials to enhance the guest experience.
* Respond to guest inquiries and provide recommendations as needed.
Job Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
