JOB DESCRIPTION
PRODUCTION OPERATOR I
Position Summary
The Production Technician Associate will report directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to assist with operations in production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a fork lift
- Packaging 10 - 50 lb. bags of bulk product via saddle to pallet as well as filling 3000 lb. super sacks
- Cleaning of the warehouse as required
- Daily maintenance of equipment
- Calls specialists when more serious problems occur
- Tracks various data associated with production equipment
- Reports any inconsistencies and uses standard repair procedures
- Work in compliance with company safety and operating procedures
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing setting
- Capable of working in a team and independently
- Capable of following a production report while working independently
