JOB SUMMARY:
- The Liaison effectively facilitates responsibilities within the inventory and operations department. The position would also work concurrently with cross functional groups to fulfill the needs of the customer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safety processes – facilitate safety initiatives and help drive a positive safety culture.Â
- New hire orientation – conduct training for all new team members in their specific areas including certifications and monitoring the training matrix.
- Sunland Mentorship program – oversee mentoring programs for all new team members.
- Process training in all departments – conduct on-the-job training for all new hires and refresher courses as needed.
- Root causing/problem solving/finding solutions as a cross functional groupÂ
- Supports work instruction updates and implementation within the teams.Â
- Customer interaction – provide onsite support between Sunland and the customer to ensure customer needs are met, including root cause analysis and problem solving.
- Operations – complete duties within assigned departments.
- Forklift operations – facilitate all training required for forklift certification and includes classroom/practical review, provide refresher training when needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- 1-3 years' experience in warehouse operations
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Ability to interpret technical documents
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office operations)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED and 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operationsÂ

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Possess or have ability to become forklift certified

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents, including protocols, standard operating procedures, customer orders, and pick tickets.Â

REASONING ABILITY:
Able to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Â Â
