Job Summary:


Responsible for increasing the customer and product penetration in the market to achieve budgeted revenue and net customer growth targets. Serves as the primary point of contact for all marketing decisions and collaborates with outside vendors and corporate employees to ensure alignment and execution of the Company strategy. Responsible for oversight of brand marketing as well as motivating and developing a team.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes a comprehensive Go-To-Market Strategy to achieve aggressive growth targets.
  • Builds and leads successful, high-performing marketing teams.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with sales, product, and operations teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals, ensuring cohesive messaging and maximizing overall organizational impact.
  • Creates and implements effective marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Develops and manages strategic partnerships to expand our reach and market share.
  • Analyzes and reports on sales and marketing performance metrics.
  • Stays current on industry trends and develops innovative strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive acquisition marketing plan including direct mail, digital media, outdoor media, etc. for residential and small business segments.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive up-sell marketing plan to increase product penetration and maximize revenue.
  • Develops and executes integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Maintains a competitive local database to keep the market informed of all competitive products, packages, and promotions.
  • Leverages AI-driven tools and data analytics to optimize marketing strategies, personalize customer experiences, and improve campaign performance through predictive insights and automation.
  • Plans and attends sales and marketing events to promote, activate and sell our products.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or Communications required.
  • 5+ years of sales and marketing experience required.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership/management experience required.
  • Proven track record of meeting organizational goals.
  • A strong understanding of the rural broadband market and the challenges and opportunities it presents.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and employees.
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to develop and execute complex marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to track and report on key performance metrics.
  • Strong selling and communication skills combined with a commitment and proven ability to succeed with a fast-paced organization.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in product marketing
  • Must be willing to wear multiple hats and take a hands-on approach to direction.
  • Agile and adaptable.
  • Must be well organized, process/quality driven, and good at managing deadlines.
  • A passion for rural development and a commitment to bridging the digital divide.
  • Strong computer skills with a strong working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft products.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.


Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Schedules may vary based on business needs 
  • Occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required to support operational demands, special projects, or peak periods 
  • Flexibility is required to support departmental needs, including high-volume or critical service periods 


Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision depth perception, and ability to focus.
