Warehouse Support Associate
Are you someone who likes a job with variety and doesn't want to spend every day doing the exact same thing?
We're looking for a dependable, organized Warehouse Support Associate to join our Milan team. This position combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with inventory, shipping, technology, and administrative support. You'll play an important role in keeping products, equipment, paperwork, and information moving accurately and efficiently throughout the operation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable using technology, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
What You'll Do
- Safely receive, organize, stock, pick, pack, and ship warehouse inventory, equipment, and supplies.
- Load and unload trucks, stage materials, and safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Process orders, purchase orders, inventory transactions, billing information, and other records using Acumatica and company systems.
- Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries and communicate with Dispatch, drivers, vendors, common carriers, and other internal teams.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records, review documentation, troubleshoot discrepancies, and help ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Support day-to-day warehouse and fleet needs, including equipment orders, driver supplies, truck documentation, parts and supply ordering, and other operational projects.
- Assist with receiving bulk product deliveries by truck or railcar and occasionally loading or unloading product from company delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and assist with other operational needs as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or similar experience preferred.
- Comfortable using computers and technology and able to learn new systems and equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, drivers, vendors, and other business partners.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to take initiative and help where needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical responsibilities of a warehouse position.
- Forklift experience is helpful, but we value candidates who are willing and able to learn.
Why This Role?
This isn't a position where you'll be limited to one warehouse task all day. You'll have the opportunity to learn multiple parts of the operation, from shipping and receiving to inventory, freight coordination, technology, equipment, and administrative support.
If you're organized, comfortable working with both your hands and technology, and looking for a position where you can become an important part of a small operational team, we'd like to hear from you.
