Job Summary:
The Non-CDL Driver is on an assigned route, delivering and merchandising the company's products.
The work schedule is 4, 10 hour days.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive an assigned route, delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Unload product from truck using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
- Check product in with store personnel.
- Ensure deliveries are accurate by verifying orders and obtaining signatures.
- Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
- Rotate all product according to company standards.
- Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit.
- Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily.
- Communicate effectively with sales representatives and store personnel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Delivery driver experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
- Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.
- Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.
- Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20 - 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Work independently across multiple retail locations throughout the shift.
- Operate delivery vehicle safely in frequently varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
