Position General Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for various duties performing as an assistant to licensed agents in
Stockman Insurance.
Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
Note: Only minimum responsibilities are listed. Other responsibilities may be required as
requested by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
1.聽 聽聽High School diploma or equivalency.
2.聽 聽聽Strong communication and organizational skills.
3.聽 聽聽Must be able to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks.
4.聽 聽聽Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
5.聽 聽聽Good interpersonal/team skills with ability to develop effective working relationships.
6.聽 聽聽Experienced in computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Preferred:
1.聽 聽聽Experience with CRMs or other data management systems. Experience specifically with Salesforce and/or Applied Epic a plus.
2.聽 聽聽Degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related field.
3.聽 聽聽Experience in insurance industry and/or relevant training.
4.聽 聽聽Current insurance license or ability to obtain.
5.聽 聽聽Strong knowledge of insurance terminology.
Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Competencies
1. Database Upkeep:
路聽 聽聽Enter into database and update client demographics, policies, policy changes, and other information as appropriate.
路聽 聽聽Scan and attach in database relevant documents from client files.
路聽 聽聽Attach in database other documents from client and carrier communications as appropriate.
路聽 聽聽Update carrier information and contacts as needed.
路聽 聽聽Stay up-to-date on carrier plans and add/update product information accordingly.
路聽 聽聽Contact carriers by phone or email as needed for policy numbers, application status, and any other information necessary to maintain database integrity.
路聽 聽聽Update agent information as needed, to include licensing and CE info.
路聽 聽聽Communicate appropriately with colleagues to obtain information needed in database that may be missing from provided documents.
路聽 聽聽Organize and update shared drive as needed.
2. Database Management
路聽 聽聽Pull reports, mailing lists, and other key information from database upon request, assisting with selection of the correct parameters to obtain desired results.
路聽 聽聽Efficiently move/copy data from one database to another when necessary.
路聽 聽聽Assist with development of automated workflows and other efficiency/productivity drivers.
路聽 聽聽Make or request minor programming changes as able to contribute to efficiency and productivity goals.
路聽 聽聽Contribute to team meetings and discussions promoting improvements in processes and procedures.
路聽 聽聽Assist with implementation of new/updated processes and procedures.
路聽 聽聽Document all changes made to database functionality and standard procedures/workflows and distribute to staff as appropriate.
