Job Summary:
The Maintenance Worker performs physical work/tasks at commercial real estate building sites.
Job Duties:
- General grounds maintenance and lot cleaning
- Patches paved and flat concrete areas utilizing cold patching materials
- Repairs signsÂ
- Vacancy cleaning
- Pest control
- Disposes of waste at buildings (evictions)
- Repair storm drain systems and repairs drain tilesÂ
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for completing ground maintenance requests in a timely and proper manner. This role is also responsible for keeping good tenant relations. The Maintenance Worker works closely with Director of Maintenance, Maintenance Coordinators and Property Managers.

Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Valid Maryland Driver’s License with DOTÂ
- Ability to perform work in a safe manner
- Knowledge of routine building maintenance and repair techniques
- Drive and pull trailerÂ
- Ability to read site plans, schematic drawings, and building plans.
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to use power tools
- Must be able to work in all types of weather
- Ability to communicate with tenants and to make tenants happy in conjunction with work that is done
- Detailed record keepingÂ
