Participates in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nutrition education program at Swedish Medical Group. Assess patient's self-care needs and his/her ability to manage care. Applies the nutrition care process while teaching patients and families. Assesses needs of patient and family.  Formulates an educational plan, implements the plan and evaluates and revises the plan as needed. Communicates information and coordinates patient care with appropriate members of the health care team. Participates in the development of educational materials.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Sciences or Dietetics.
- Upon hire: Washington Dietitian Certification. Or
- Upon hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification.
- Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- 4 years Nutrition experience, preferably one year in ambulatory care setting or community health.
- 2 years' Experience with teaching and public speaking.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nutrition Sciences or Dietetics
- 2 years Department specific experience ie. pediatrics, gastroenterology etc.
