Job DetailsJob Location: Millbrook, AL 36054Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayQuality Lab Tech Job Overview The Quality Lab Tech is responsible for sampling, preparing and testing fine and course aggregates and associated products for Little River Materials at various production facilities and associated plants and terminals.   Responsibilities Perform testing and sampling procedures such as Stockpile sampling, Belt samples, Splitting, Gradation, and other applicable tests as needed. Proof read all reports before submitting Report any conditions that could lead to product nonconformities Notify Supervisor of all out of spec samples Properly identify and label all saved material Fulfill customer requests-Additional analysis, Sample requests Keep certifications current- ALDOT Aggregate Technician Perform routine preventative maintenance on lab equipment Regularly inspect and clean equipment Report and correct equipment irregularities Perform or contract required calibration verification of scales at the designated times Notify Supervisor when supplies need to be ordered QualificationsQualifications DOT Aggregate Technician certification preferred High School Diploma or GED Ability to travel to various sites in Alabama Valid driver's license High level of integrity and motivation Must be punctual and able to meet deadlines Computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel  Strong math and organizational skills along with ability to meet deadlines; ability to read and interpret technical procedures Willing and able to work shifts Prior experience demonstrating effective task management skills strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently while also operating in a team environment with friendly, proactive and assertive nature Benefits Blue Cross Blue Shield of AL – Health Colonial Dental Colonial Vision 401k PTO
