About the Role
The Thin Film Operator Level II will be responsible for Photolithography, eBeam Deposition, Wet Etch Strip or Etch on microelectronic parts. The functions are performed in adherence with the pre-established thin film process sheets that identify the manufacturing procedures specific to each type of part that is being manufactured to ensure and maintain lot integrity.
What You Get to Do
- Complete work as assigned according to process sheet instructions, in a tightly controlled environment
- Test work results and document part parameters by completing the process sheet and recording yield data in the FileMaker software database
- Inspect parts dimensionally against customer requirements as found in the router
- Processes will include but not be limited to: Photolithography, and Wet Etch Strip or Deposition
- Follow all safety protocols
- Perform routine machine maintenance and record data in FileMaker software if applicable
- Perform production equipment preparationÂ
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Cross-train as requested in other areas of the company
- May be a certified trainer
- Ability to identify problems in assigned projects and proactively solve them
- Support training needs and R&D / testing projects led by Engineering department
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate high levels of precision and accuracy
- Thin Film lead operator on one production area/piece of equipment
- Works with little supervision
- Initiative on projects
- Ability to complete complex tasksÂ
- Own sub-projects
About You
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience. Â
- Must be able to work in a standing position for up to 10 hours. Â
- Must be able to wear a lab coat, spittle mask, boot covering, and gloves while working. Â
- Position requires working with chemicals, measuring devices, and microscopes. Â
- Must have previous experience working in a similar environment. Â
- High School Diploma or GED
