Job DetailsJob Location: Milledgeville - Milledgeville, GA 31061Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: Road WarriorGeorgia Military College is in search of a Full Time Bus Driver. Primarily drives GMC buses and vehicles to transport students, faculty, and staff personnel to/from activities and events at the discretion of GMC. Position requires an individual to work an irregular schedule and hours. Position is contracted for 10 months and generally mirrors the GMC Prep School schedule.  This position is not TRS eligible.      *Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working. QualificationsMinimum Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Georgia Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger & School Bus endorsements and air brakes Preferred Level: CDL trained/certified at Technical School   Minimum Required:  3 yrs. experience driving commercial/charter buses Preferred Level:  5+ yrs. experience driving charter/commercial buses   Minimum Required:  Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and be able to work with basic tools to conduct minor repairs on vehicles Preferred Level:  Experience as a basic mechanic
