Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Management in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, drivers, and visitors while supporting orderly site operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, control entry and exit of authorized personnel and vehicles, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and delivery records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing traffic in accordance with site procedures, including checking identification, shipment documentation, and access authorizations.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
