Job Title: Parts Coordinator

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


Summary: Ensure parts needed for repair are available or coordinate with the Purchasing Department to purchase the needed parts.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Review each service order for correct parts
  • Gather parts needed for service work order
  • Track and return items that are defective to vendors for a refund
  • File completed work orders and returned vendor paperwork.
  • Drive company vehicle to deliver parts in the southeast GA/SC/AL/FLA areas for customers/contractors, usually one-day turnaround trip

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manufactured housing industry experience desired
  • High School Graduate or equivalent training or experience.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will be working at a rapid pace within the production line. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; outside weather conditions; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
