Robin Industries healthcare Division is seeking a Mold Maintenance Tech, the qualified individual will be performing duties to remove, clean and install molds, pots, and accessories.Â
Job duties include but may not be limited to:
- Perform mold change setup for production and sample run; set up ejectors, knockouts, and slitters; hoist molds and fasten to top and bottom platens; realign platform and workstation with press; maintain tools and equipment in proper working order.
- Report presses breakdowns or malfunctioning problems to maintenance; makes minor repairs.
- Clean molds and pots; maintain cleaning tanks including routine test and adjustments or changing of caustic solution. (Respirator is required)
- Inspect mold for damage and replace damaged inserts, hinge pins, wasteless boards, etc.
- Complete reports and records as required.
- Organize and maintain mold storage area.
- Maintain close communications with shift supervisors regarding repairs to set up equipment and scheduling of mold cleaning.
- Must be able to lift, up to 50 pounds.
